RentOcean, part of Oceanteam Shipping’s solutions division, has been awarded a contract with Bohlen & Doyen, part of SAG Group, for supplying a lay spread for a cable laying project in Germany.
The lay spread includes a 4000T demountable turntable and loading tower with built-in tensioner.
According to the company, the contract has a duration of 1 year, plus options.
In addition to the lay spread contract, the company has also secured a deal with Bohlen & Doyen for future equipment, transport and storage deliveries, thus becoming D&B’s main partner and supplier of offshore cable laying and onshore storage solutions.
