DOF Subsea Grabs IMR Contract from Freeport McMoran

DOF Subsea North America has been awarded an IMR contract by Freeport McMoran.

The contract is for a period of 6 months firm and 2 x 6 months options.

Under the contract, the company will utilize DPII Multipurpose Construction Vessel ‘Harvey Deep Sea’.

The vessel, with a length of 92 meters and a beam of 19.5 meters, is equipped with an active heave-compensated, National Oilwell Varco 165-ton knuckle boom subsea crane capable of lifting/setting at depths up to 10,000 ft.

The operations under the IMR contract will start immediately, DOF Subsea said in its filing to Oslo Stock Exchange.
