Oslo-listed seismic contractor, SeaBird Exploration, has decided to stack Munin Explorer following its completion of the long-term time charter contract with SeaBed Geosolutions in August 2015.

M/V Munin Explorer, currently sailing under Cyprus flag, joined SeaBird in 2007. The vessel, currently rigged as source vessel, also operate as a 2D long offset vessel.

The vessel was built in 1990 and revamped in 2007. It has an overall length of 66 meters and beam of 14.5 meters.

Since February last year, the vessel was on USD 12,000 per day with 2% increase of charter rate per year throughout the charter period.

Munin Explorer, owned by Ordinat Shipping AS, is fit to accommodate 46 persons.
