Philippines: EWC’s Pagbilao LNG terminal nears completion

Energy World Corporation said that construction is well progressing on its Pagbilao LNG Hub terminal and 650MW power station in the Philippines.

According to a progress report by EWC, the unloading jetty is substantially completed and unloading arms are installed. The 130,000 cbm LNG storage tank has been topped out.

The 2 units for liquefied natural gas regasification have also been installed.

Gas-fired turbine generators have been erected and installation associated pipes pumps, valves, controls etc. of the Siemens power generator packages is well underway, the report said.

Support facilities, administration, site safety including security, firefighting facilities and medical clinic are all in place as part of the project requirements, the report added.
