The Energy Technology Partnership (ETP) is seeking a new Executive Director.

ETP is an alliance of Scottish Universities engaged in world class energy related research and development (R&D). With around 250 academics and 700 researchers, it is the largest, most broad-based power and energy research partnership in Europe.

The Executive Director will provide overall leadership of ETP with and on behalf of its Chairman (Professor Sir Jim McDonald) and Directorate to further increase its reputation as a high performing community of academics and researchers with a global reputation for excellence in technology development, skills provision and knowledge exchange with industry.

The role is high profile and demanding and requires an experienced and senior director level appointment to manage the diversity of the job and the considerable levels of engagement with academia, industry and the public sector both within and outside of Scotland.

This role will be based at the University of Strathclyde, in Glasgow.

Closing date for applications is 4th September 2015.
