Tokyo Gas, CPC Taiwan in LNG MoU

Tokyo Gas revealed it has signed a memorandum of understanding on strategic collaboration with CPC Corporation, Taiwan to further enhance cooperation and communication between the two companies.

Japan’s Tokyo Gas revealed it has signed a memorandum of understanding on strategic collaboration with CPC Corporation, Taiwan to further enhance cooperation and communication between the two companies.

Since the Fukushima disaster in 2011, Tokyo Gas collaborated with CPC Corporation, Taiwan through information exchange, with the purpose of lowering Asian LNG import prices, the company stressed in its statement.

With the signing of the new MOU, Tokyo Gas seeks an opportunity to further expand and enhance a strategic partnership with CPC.

Both companies are looking to study possible ways collaboration in the area of optimization of LNG inventory, collaboration for LNG procurement and cooperation on engineering, technical matters related to natural gas.
