Indian Oil Corporation has reportedly awarded a tender for the supply of a single cargo of liquefied natural gas to BG Group.
The cargo lined up for delivery on August follows the company’s plan to buy one cargo per month in 2015 through 2016, taking advantage of lower short-term prices, Reuters reports.
This is already a third cargo the company purchased and it has also recently issued another tender looking for a single cargo to be delivered in September.
The previous two tenders for a single cargo were awarded to Vitol and Excelerate Energy.
