General Dynamics NASSCO informed it is set to launch TOTE’s second LNG-powered containership.
The company revealed that the ceremony will be held at NASSCO’s shipyard in San Diego on August 29.
The first vessel named Isla Bella was launched on April 18.
Both 3,100 TEU LNG-powered containership are designed by DSEC, a Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering unit for TOTE.
The double-hulled ships include DSME’s LNG fuel-gas system and MAN ME-GI dual fuel slow speed engine.
