Two LNG cargoes have recently been loaded at Peru’s only liquefaction facility at Pampa Melchorita.
According to Perupetro, 138,104 cbm Gemmata LNG carrier has loaded the cargo on August 7 and headed towards Mexico. Shipping data reveals that its final destination is the Manzanillo LNG terminal.
Chevron’s newbuild, the 160,000 cbm Asia Excellence loaded its cargo on August 8. The vessel has set course for France, but Perupetro has not revealed the final destination of the cargo. It is the second cargo Peru dispatched to France in three days.
With the two shipments, Peru’s LNG export facility has reached a number of 282 cargoes since its startup in 2010.
