Fairwood LNG said it has appointed Kailash Singal as project engineering director to develop its first floating liquefaction vessel.

Fairwood LNG is the parent company and owner of Delfin LNG, which is developing the first floating liquefaction project in the United States.

Singal was most recently a project technical manager on Cheniere Energy’s Corpus Christi liquefaction facilities, and has over 20 years of experience developing liquefaction terminals in the US and around the world, the company said in a statement.

Singal will work closely with Fairwood LNG’s chosen FEED contractor, Bechtel, to design and develop the project at Port Delfin.
