Electromagnetic Geoservices (EMGS) has entered into a new data licensing agreement with an undisclosed oil company for the provision of 3D EM data.

The data provided will be from the company’s multi-client data library over the Barents Sea.

The contract is worth USD 3.3 million, said the company in today’s Oslo Stock Exchange filing.

EMGS will receive USD 1.7 million net after adjustment for partner’s share of revenues.

In accordance with the company’s multi-client data library, EMGS in Norway covers 50,000 square kilometers of 3D full azimuth Multi-Client data in the Barents Sea.
