The port development sector in the Middle East is witnessing considerable growth and mega projects across the region have been gaining increasing attention as to how these projects will be delivered.

Moreover, it has been estimated that the Gulf countries are allocating $36 billion to further develop their port infrastructure to handle bigger capacity and prepare for the arrival of mega vessels. Therefore, operators are now looking for solutions on how to increase operational performance and ensure the highest level of service for the new breed of mega-ships.

“ The industry is witnessing an intensifying competition between ports in the region that are vying to become the port of choice for trade routes. Therefore, we have organized the Port Development Week conference with the input from over 10 leading regional and international port operators and authorities to encourage discussion around this topic ,” says Basma Dawwas, Conference Director, IQPC Middle East.

Join key speakers from Abu Dhabi Ports, DP World, SOHAR Port, Port of Salalah, Los Angeles Port, Aqaba Development Corporation, AECOM and many more from 6-9 September at the InterContinental Doha, to discuss port security, operations and expansion strategies and engineering innovations.
