The 148,000 cbm LNG tanker Arctic Lady is sailing again after it has recently undergone a major overhaul at Damen Shiprepair Brest in France.
“ All work, such as the overhaul of main and auxiliary propulsion systems as well as all of her LNG cargo equipment (tanks, pumps, safety valves, etc.) were carried out on-time and to the highest set quality standards ,” Germany-based ship repair company, Turbo Technik, said in a statement.
According to the company, this was a scheduled routine 10-year overhaul for the liquefied natural gas tanker.
The vessel, owned by Höegh LNG, is under a 20-year time charter contract to France’s Total. The contract started in April 2006.
