ALS Industrial informed it has secured a five-year contract with Chevron Australia for the provision of technical services to support core maintenance, shutdowns and brownfield projects for the company’s Western Australian-based operational assets.

As a result of this contract, ALS Industrial expects to provide employment opportunities for engineers, inspectors, non-destructive technicians along with contract and operational management personnel, the company said in a statement issued on Monday.

According to the statement, the Chevron contract continues ALS Industrial’s success of transitioning from the construction phase of LNG projects into maintenance support having successfully secured the ConocoPhillips APLNG and QGC QCLNG facility contracts earlier this year.

Chevron is developing two giant LNG projects in Western Australia, namely Gorgon and Wheatstone.

ALS Industrial provides asset reliability and integrity solutions to the oil & gas, mining, power and infrastructure industries by integrating the delivery of engineering, inspection and non-destructive testing services.
