MPI Offshore’s wind-turbine-installation vessel MPI Enterprise has completed its first charter under MPI ownership.
Following the company’s successful acquisition of MPI Enterprise earlier this year, the vessel has completed its job on E.ON’s Amrumbank West Offshore Wind Farm which started at the beginning of May 2015.
The Amrumbank West Offshore Wind Farm is situated approximately 35 km north of Helgoland and 37 km west of Amrum in the German Exclusive Economic Zone of the North Sea.
MPI Enterprise acted as an installation vessel, in conjunction with the E.ON contractor Per Aarslef. Following these preparatory tasks, WTG installation will be undertaken by another of MPI’s WTIVs, MPI Adventure.
