The first two Vos Prodect’s monopile entry systems (Pro-MES) have been installed by Van Oord, at Gemini offshore wind farm project by the end of week 32.

Pull-in of both first end and second end of the cable were completed on schedule and without any problems.

Pro-MES systems have been tailored to the specific requirements of the Gemini project, with a primary focus on easy installation and cost reduction.

The 600MW Gemini project, located in Dutch waters, will feature 150 Siemens 4MW turbines. The park is expected to be fully operational by 2017 and capable of generating clean energy for 1.5 million people in the Netherlands.
