Italy’s Rosetti Marino has secured a contract with subsea specialist OneSubsea UK (a joint venture between the US Cameron & Schlumberger).
According to the AIM-listed company, the contract is for the engineering, procurement & construction of subsea production modules for a North African offshore gas project on behalf of an international oil company.
Eariler this year, OneSubsea announced a $300-million deal for North Africa gas project, the largest subsea production system contract in this region to date.
This Rosetti Marino contract award represents the company’s first in the subsea sector. It is worth approximately €30 million and the works are scheduled to start during this year and be completed in early 2017.
