Atlas Professionals, a specialist recruitment and HR service company for the energy and marine industries, has completed the acquisition of Subserv Pro (SSP), and ORCA Offshore (ORCA).

The acquisition is expected to add further scope and options for both of Atlas’ clients and personnel.

Based in Banbury, the office will expand Atlas’ UK network in the niche markets of ROV, diving, inspection and renewable energy.

Marcus Chandler , Managing Director of SSP, said: “When selecting the new custodians of Subserv Pro & ORCA the criterion was to find a partner with the same basic ethos, expertise, passion and resources to guide our business and people through the next stage of their development. Having worked closely with Atlas Professionals over the past year I am convinced that we have made the right choice.”

As of the end of August, SSP’s and ORCA’s staff shall remain unchanged, with their teams operating in the same location.

However, Marcus Chandler and Operations Director Celia Chandler will leave the company and hand over management to Andrew Blears, Director of Atlas, with daily operations managed by Rob Pattenden, Jason Timms and Will Taylor-Walsh.
