Viking SeaTech has expanded its UK Marine department with addition of two oil and gas industry professionals to strengthen its core marine engineering competencies.
Syed Shah joins as a marine manager, with more than 25 years experience and over 75 rig moves. Colin Allan joins as a project engineer with a engineering and design portfolio.
John Dick , Viking SeaTech Regional Business Leader, North Sea Region, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Syed and Colin as we progress regionally and globally. We have increased confidence in the market and our customers have shown belief in our business focus.
“Our new colleagues will work closely with the existing team and I know together that their knowledge will help enhance our marine services and integration with client teams on current and future projects.”
The firm said it has plans to further increase staff numbers in its Marine department before the end of the year.
