Doedijns, has recently supplied the complete Hydraulic System for a Pile Gripper Frame to Bilfinger Marine & Offshore Systems.

The system has been installed and commissioned and is currently being used to install a total of 72 Wind Turbine foundations for the Sandbank Offshore Wind Farm in the German North Sea. This makes the total amount of installed foundations with the help of a Doedijns system close to 400 foundations.

Oscar Bik, Manager Offshore Hydraulics of Doedijns said: “Thanks to our experience and flexibility we have been able to design, build and commission the system in a very short time – only 12 weeks. Doedijns delivers Turn-Key, we do everything in house including development of the software and the complete Electrical Controls. The Offshore wind industry is a demanding industry requiring short delivery times once the projects are given a go-ahead.”
