Russia’s largest producer of steel pipes, TMK said it has delivered 1,748 mt of cold-resistant casing and tubing pipe, including 1,716 mt of premium tubular products to Novatek-operated Yamal LNG during this year.
The shipments were made under a contract the company signed with Yamal LNG in 2014.
TMK expects to supply about 48 thousand tonnes of tubular products until the expiration of the contract, which is scheduled in 2020.
Yamal LNG project includes the construction of a liquefaction plant with annual capacity of 16.5 million tons per annum based on the feedstock resources of the South-Tambeyskoye field. The production from the LNG project in the Arctic is expected to start in 2017.
