Norway’s Electromagnetic Geoservices (EMGS) has informed it will return for 3D EM acquisition for PEMEX in Mexico.

According to the company, the vessel BOA Galatea is currently transiting to production site and is expected to re-start the work for PEMEX in the beginning of next week.

The duration of the survey is expected to be approximately one month.

In addition, as announced in July 2015, EMGS has received permits from Mexico’s Comisión Nacional de Hidrocarburos (CNH) authorizing the acquisition of up to approximately 88,000 square kilometers 3D EM multi-client data in the Salina de Itsmo Basin.

“EMGS will prioritise to acquire EM data for the future bid rounds in Mexico and is currently actively seeking funding of its projects,” the company said in its notice to Oslo Stock Exchange.
