In the past year, the number of refugees and migrants crossing the Mediterranean has increased. Many people left their homes fleeing from war and poverty hoping to find a better place to live. In this attempt they are trying to reach Europe aboard unseaworthy boats and dinghies. Unfortunately, many of them fail to reach this goal.
