Total gas sales volume by Japan’s Tokyo Gas for the month of August came to about 1,221.792 million m3, up 4 percent from August 2014.
In the residential sector, volume totaled 130.676 million m3, almost equal to that in August 2014, while in the business sector, volume totaled 258.677 million m3, a rise of 4.1 percent.
In the industrial sector, volume rose 4.1 percent to 648.891 million m3, while the volume for wholesale supply to other gas companies totaled 183.548 million m3, up 6.4 percent from August 2014.
