Cheniere Energy chief sells 150,000 shares

Charif Souki, CEO of US LNG player Cheniere, sold 150,000 shares of the company’s stock on the open market in a transaction dated September 15. The shares were sold at an average price of US$54.24 for a total value of $8.1 million, according to an SEC filing. Souki now directly owns 3,750,089 shares

Charif Souki, CEO of US LNG player Cheniere, sold 150,000 shares of the company’s stock on the open market in a transaction dated September 15.

The shares were sold at an average price of US$54.24 for a total value of $8.1 million, according to an SEC filing.

Souki now directly owns 3,750,089 shares of Cheniere’s stock, valued about $203 million.

Cheniere is developing two LNG export plants in the US, namely the Sabine Pass and the Corpus Christi project.
