JULONG, a Chinese manufacturer of various water engineering vessels and platforms, has delivered a cutter suction dredger to the Chinese government.
This 16 inch cutter suction dredger, with suction and discharge pipe of 400mm and a 2000m/hr pump capacity, is equipped with one set of 1000HP Cummins engine.
The dredging machine was delivered with a 2000m long discharge pipe.
The client also selected some optional equipment to improve the efficiency, like anchor boom, spud carriage, etc.
This piece of equipment is working on the Mengjin Reservoir project where it will clean mud from the reservoir bottom.
After the project completion, the water storage capacity of the reservoir will be increased for more than 50,000m³.
