Government of Hong Kong SAR Marine Department has informed that submarine pipeline inspection works will be carried out for a period of approximately one month, at Shatin Hoi.
The works will be carried out by one derrick barge, while one tug and one guard boat will provide assistance.
According to Hong Kong Marine Department, a working area of approximately 50 meters will be established around the barge. The works will be carried out from 08:00 to 18:00 hours. No works will be carried out on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. The vessels employed for the job will stay in the working area outside the hours of work.
Diving operations will be carried out from time to time during the hours of work.
Vessels engaged in the operation will display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations.
Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution and keep clear at slow speed, bearing in mind there are divers working in the area.
