Australian LNG player Woodside has extended its relationship with Accenture to implement predictive analytics for maintenance and process control in production operations across its liquefied natural gas assets.

Under the terms of the agreement, Woodside is using Accenture to deliver an end-to-end analytics solution for real-time actionable insights on its LNG facilities, including the Pluto LNG plant, the two companies said in a joint statement.

Through the collaboration, Woodside has already developed the predictive tools for its Pluto LNG plant, and deployed predictive process monitoring tools. The analytics methodology and capability will be extended to some of Woodside’s other producing assets.
