CCCC Shanghai Dredging Co. has just won bid for the cofferdam, land formation and foundation treatment works, worth approximately $206 million.
The deal is for the No. 6-10 container terminal project in Meishan zone of Ningbo-Zhoushan Port, Zhejiang Province, with the construction period of 4 years.
Located at Meishan Free Trade Port Area, China’s fifth of its kind, the project involves construction of 2,150m of seawalls and 663m of cofferdams, a rear land formation area, a sand fill area of some 5.39 million square meters and a basin dredging area of some 6.56 million square meters.
The project comes as a part of the initial works for the No. 6-10 container terminal project in Meishan zone. With a total investment of $1.22 billion, the project involves construction of two 200,000t berths and three 150,000t berths.
