Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Co., LLC, Oak Brook, Illinois, has been awarded a $17.5 million firm-fixed-price contract for dredging and unclassified excavation at Naval Reserve Basin in the Delaware River.

Work will be performed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with an estimated completion date of September 30, 2016.

The dredging will be performed to a depth of 30 feet plus 1 foot allowable over depth.

During the project, approximately 200,000 cubic yards of material will be excavated from the area.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the contracting activity.
