Royal IHC has just announced that it will take part at the ACI European Dredging Summit in Antwerp on 7-8 October, with key presentations by IHC MTI’s Dredging Consultant and Trainer Jannes Kamphuis, and IHC Systems Sales Manager Riny Mourik.
In a session focusing on project efficiency factors, Jannes will discuss: risk mitigation in dredging and land reclamation projects; logistical issues and practical solutions; benchmarks and KPIs; and methods to effectively reduce a project’s cost.
On Thursday, Riny’s presentation will cover: the future of budget control in dredging; the place of dredging within “Industry 4.0”; dredging and the internet of things; and Dredging 2020.
ACI’s European Dredging Summit 2015, focusing on the essential dredge strategies and environmental monitoring for project approval, will provide a global analysis of dredging projects, environmental regulation and essential recommendations for dredging activity including equipment and contractor selection.
At the event, participants will have a chance to learn how to solve the major problems when developing a successful dredging project, discover global opportunities of future project locations and their financial value as well as network with industry most experienced individuals.
