Soth Korea’s Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering said that it has secured an order to build two 173,400 cbm LNG carriers for Singapore-based BW Group.

The deal is worth about US$400 million (KRW 478 billion), DSME said in a stock filing exchange on Wednesday.

BW and DSME signed a shipbuilding deal in September last year for two LNG carriers. The agreement included options for additional vessels.

Daewoo said it will deliver the MEGI-powered LNG vessels by the first half of 2019.
