Tuco Marine of Denmark have introduced their new Dive Support and ROV Support boats, which are complementing Tuco’s range of ProZero Workboats and Daughter Crafts.
The boats are optimized to be working platforms for underwater work, and work performed on the surface in support of divers and ROV’s, these operations includes underwater inspection, investigation, excavation, construction, and repair or maintenance of, machinery and structures, and the salvage of sunken property, Tuco informed.
The 14-meter Dive support boat features a divers deck that can be protected from the weather by a large canopy protecting the crew working on deck from the environment and supplying sufficient light at night to operating 24/7 from the vessel.
The 15-meter version holds the same external features as the 14-meter vessel, but offers the possibility of a closed Dive control/ROV control room in the deck house, the company explained.
Both the 14 and the 15-meter vessel can be delivered with inboard diesels and jet drives or a triple OXE diesel outboard solution, as the outboard solution is giving extra deck space and space below the aft deck where up to 12 air cylinders can be fitted.
The main diving ladder is a central point of the aft working deck on both vessels.
For ROV operations the decks are prepared for mounting double davits and A-frames.
Both the vessels are based on the design of Tuco Marine Group’s ProZero series that offers the customers a high level of customization, the company added.
