Vos Logistics, the European logistics services provider, said it has recently added five LNG-powered low-deck trucks to its fleet of international trailers.
Vos Logistics previously used the LNG-powered trucks only in the Benelux area and regional distribution and according to the company’s statement it is the first international transport company to introduce LNG for international “mega” trailer operations.
New LNG trucks have additionally been equipped to run on liquefied biogas where available, according to the statement.
Henk-Jan van der Molen, Commercial Director of Vos Logistics , said that the company is currently working with its partners to set up an international network of LNG filling stations.
