Thoresen Shipping and Logistics Ltd.(TSL), a joint-venture between NAXCO Group and Thoresen Thai Agencies, has successfully unloaded one of the largest container cranes currently in Thailand, as well as three Rubber Tyre Gantry (RTG) cranes.
MV Zhen Hua 18, the vessel which was delivering the cranes, arrived at Laem Chabang International Terminal on September 23rd, 2015. The entire discharge operation was successfully completed within two days.
The container crane weighs around 1,400 tons and presents the largest crane currently at the Laem Chabang Terminal.
Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Co., Ltd (ZPMC), a China state holding company and the builder of the crane, has a fleet of more than 25 heavy lift carrier vessels.
