Costa Renewables, brokering and consultancy services provider to the international energy industry, has opened its new head office in Alkmaar, the Netherlands.

Ed Wehnes, Chief Executive Officer of Costa Renewables said: “With the new office we will be able to better serve our clients and expand our business in Europe.”

The company was originally founded in 2007 in Costa Rica, a country that is able to (largely) provide in the national electricity needs from renewable energy sources.

Costa Renewables brings the right parties together to make an energy project possible and advises project developers on how to execute their energy projects in the most cost-reductive and safe manner, identifying and managing risks throughout the different stages of a project.
