Gemini offshore wind farm has two substations for each of the two wind farm parts, Buitengaats (300MW) and ZeeEnergie (300MW).

The first offshore substation at the offshore wind farm was placed on top of the jacket foundation in late August and in the first days of September both of them were installed at the site.
