DSME, SHI order Bestobell valves for LNG newbuilds

Bestobell Marine said it has secured orders for its new range of high pressure globe and check valves that will be used on pump and vapouriser skids used in high pressure fuel gas systems for MAN ME-GI engines.

Bestobell Marine said it has secured orders for its new range of high pressure globe and check valves that will be used on pump and vapouriser skids used in high pressure fuel gas systems for MAN ME-GI engines.

Bestobell Marine will supply valves for pump and vaporizer skids for six LNG carriers being built at DSME shipyard and two LNG carriers being built at SHI shipyard, the company said in a statement.

The Bestobell Marine HP cryogenic globe valves will be fitted in the pipework downstream of the high-pressure pumps.

According to Bestobell Marine, these valves are designed to stand a maximum pressure of 370 Bar.
