The Danish Ministry of Defense has just released a tender for the renovation and upgrading of the quay at the Naval Base in Frederikshavn.
The project includes renovation of approximately 1,570m of wharf, the establishment of 700m of new quay, dredging, delivery and installation of sand behind the new sheet piling and construction of the slipway, Ro/Ro ramps, bollards etc.
During the project, some 200,000m³ of material will be excavated from the site.
Construction work will be carried out during the period February 2016 to August 2017 in two stages.
Work not included in this project is renovation and upgrading of the electricity supply which will be carried out simultaneously in a parallel contract.
The deadline for submitting bids is October 26th 2015.
