Offshore Marine Management (OMM) has commenced delivery of a long term scope for Cable Management Consultancy services to Wave Hub Ltd, based in Hayle Cornwall.
Wave Hub Ltd is the operating company that manages Wave Hub, a UK-based wave energy test site helping the marine industry harness the abundance of natural resources in the UK and wider Europe.
The contract, which commenced in September 2015, sees OMM deliver its expert range of cable consultancy services throughout the project lifecycle, from survey and reporting through to overseeing cable handling, installation and maintenance for this diverse test site. OMM will also provide procurement support and assistance with any funding applications from its UK-based head office.
In addition to supporting Wave Hub Ltd, OMM will provide further assistance to developers at the site by identifying solutions to reduce the costs and risks associated with their cabling work.
