Turkish Besiktas Shipyard has delivered the Thor Freya seismic support vessel to its owner Thor.
The 64 meters long vessel is the last one in the series of four seismic support vessel Besiktas Shipyard has built for the Faroese-based Thor. The shipyard earlier delivered the Thor Frigg, Thor Modi and Thor Magni vessels.
All the vessels have been chartered by the Norwegian seismic data acquisition specialist PGS.
The charter deals were signed in November 2012 . Under the agreement, the vessels will stay with PGS for ten years, with options for further extension.
