BW LPG said that it has taken delivery of BW Orion, the sixth very large gas carrier in its newbuilding programme of eight VLGCs from Hyundai Heavy Industries.
Including the BW Orion, the company has a fleet of 40 vessels, comprising 27 owned VLGCs, eight chartered-in VLGCs and five owned LGCs.
Total carrying capacity of BW LPG’s fleet amounts to over 3.1 million cbm, the company said in a statement.
In addition, BW LPG has six VLGC newbuildings under construction.
