Total gas sales volume by Tokyo Gas of Japan for the month of September came to about 1,121.622 million m3, a rise of 2.5% as compared to the same month last year.
In the residential sector, volume totaled 140.295 million m3, up 4.2% from September 2014, while in the business sector, volume totaled 207.754 million m3, down 5.4%, the company revealed in its monthly report.
In the industrial sector, volume totaled 586.950 million m3, up 4.8%, while the volume for wholesale supply to other gas companies totaled 186.623 million m3, up 3.9% from September 2014.
Tokyo Gas also revealed that gas sales volume in the first half of fiscal 2015 totaled about 7,089.074 million m3, almost equal (down 0.1%) to the same period of FY 2014.
