Boskalis Subsea Services has opened an office in Aberdeen dedicated to focus on growing business in the UK sector in the offshore and renewable industry.

Boskalis Subsea Services provides turn-key air/sat diving, and ROV interventions with their two dedicated Diving Support Vessels “Protea and Constructor” predominantly working on the North Sea on a year around basis.

The office is also being utilized by the other business units of the Boskalis Offshore Energy division (including Dockwise and Fairmount), who are also actively present in the Aberdeen market, providing Transport & Installation scopes, Decommissioning projects, chartering of offshore vessels, cable laying activities, subsea rock installation and cable crossing projects.

Claire Goldie has been appointed as Business Development Manager based in the new office, situated in Aberdeens west end at No 7. Queen’s Garden.

Bert van der Velden , Commercial Director of Boskalis Subsea Services, said: “Aberdeen has always been identified as being one of the key locations for our existing UK clients and he notes that the new office reinforces Boskalis’ local network, in order to meet the needs of oil & gas customers especially in the Southern and Central North Sea.

“Boskalis Subsea Services believe it is essential to have a local presence in Aberdeen to maintain and further develop our relationship with existing and new clients in the industry. Our new location means we can be even closer to our Clients and offer them a swift response to enquiries and local support.”
