Proserv, an energy services company, has secured a contract with a value of more than 20 million NOK ($2.4 million) to provide topside control equipment at one of the largest field discoveries on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, Johan Sverdrup.
The agreement will see Proserv supplying Aibel, on behalf of Statoil, with a hydraulic power unit (HPU) and three chemical injection panels to be used on the Johan Sverdrup development’s drilling platform.
Proserv says that its staff in Norway will work in collaboration with their Dubai colleagues to deliver the products.

The work is due for completion by June 2016 and the HPU will be delivered with remote controlled cleaning system for hydraulic oil.
Proserv’s chemical injection panels will service a total of 80 injection lines. According to the company, the panels allow for each line to be remotely operated and monitored for flowrate and pressure.
