EMGS Enters Sales Agreement for Barents Sea Data

Norway’s Electromagnetic Geoservices ASA (EMGS) has entered into a new licensing agreement for the provision of 3D EM data from the multi-client data library over the Barents Sea.

The company did not disclose the name of the new client and when the data will be delivered.

According to EMGS, the contract is worth a total of USD 2.8 million.

EMGS said that it will receive USD 1.6 million net after adjustment for partner’s share of revenues.

In accordance with the company’s multi-client data library update, EMGS in Norway covers 50,000 square kilometers of 3D full azimuth Multi-Client data in the Barents Sea.
