Hydroid, a subsidiary of Kongsberg Maritime, has recognized Japan-based SEA Corporation as an authorized REMUS Service Center.

SEA Corporation has created a service center in Chiba, Japan for the maintenance and repair of Hydroid’s REMUS 100 and REMUS 600 vehicles and support equipment. This local capability will significantly increase operational availability for Japan’s REMUS customers.

“Hydroid is so pleased to have SEA Corporation as an authorized service and support center in Japan, ” said Maureen Kelly , customer service manager at Hydroid. “Since the first delivery of a REMUS system in Japan, SEA Corporation has set a goal of providing first line service and support locally. They have invested in facilities and training to accomplish that. Having reviewed their maintenance capabilities firsthand, I am confident SEA Corporation shares Hydroid’s commitment to excellence in customer support.”

“SEA is proud to be the Hydroid authorized service partner for REMUS marine robots in Japan,” said Teruki Tanaka , president of SEA Corporation. “We are committed to providing the highest level of service and support to our customers for the REMUS systems.”
