MMT Wins Kriegers Flak Survey Job

Energinet.dk has awarded a survey job for Kriegers Flak project to MMT.

The Swedish company will undertake a geophysical and geotechnical survey of a 26 km long cable route corridor.

As part of the Kriegers Flak Combined Grid Solution the Danish TSO Energinet.dk and the German TSO 50Hertz Transmission GmbH is preparing the installation of 2 parallel HVDC cables from the KFBE substation at the planned Kriegers Flak Wind Farm (DK) to the Baltic 2 substation at the Baltic 2 Wind Farm (DE).

Kriegers Flak Combined Grid Solution is the world’s first offshore interconnection that is using the national grid connections to offshore wind-farms in the Baltic Sea.
