SapuraKencana Australia has contracted Subcon for the supply of the gravity anchors and cathodic protection for the John Brookes Pipeline Repair project.
Subcon’s scope for this fabrication package includes the supply of eleven heavy density concrete gravity anchors to restrain the pipeline from uplift. Nine of these have been cast with anodes to provide cathodic protection to the pipeline.
Subcon’s involvement in the project also extends to the offshore campaign, where they are providing the marine grouting services for the free-span rectification campaign.
Subcon has provided SapuraKencana with a turn-key solution which includes the provision of formworks, DNV offshore rated grout spreads, personnel and consumables for executing the works.
