MTG, an international company specialized in the design and production of systems for earth moving machinery, is attending the Europort exhibition in Rotterdam, introducing its latest solutions for the dredging market.

The main innovation is DMet, a G.E.T system for the dredging market that improves productivity and increases protection of cutter and hopper dredgers, even in demanding applications such as hard rock.

This system includes a hammerless locking technology, MTG Twist, which provides an added reliability and ease of use.

With a range of self-sharpening designed teeth with optional use of inserts and extra protection for the adapter, the DMet system is designed to maximize the lifecycle of all its elements, maintaining the cutter-head operating for longer times and reducing maintenance costs.

Ana Cabezas, the Key Account Manager for Dredge Department , said: “ We are growing very fast the field of dredging and we have consolidated as a solid alternative in the segment of high quality cutting systems. Therefore, we consider Europort Rotterdam 2015 as the place to be, thanks to its international focus among the dredging community worldwide and its large number of exhibitors and professional visitors. ”

MTG offers solutions for different dredging equipment: cutter dredgers, hopper dredgers, backhoes and clamshells. Along with the patented DMet System, MTG also offers a wide range of products both proprietary and adaptable to the major systems on the market.
